The hardware will make or break a wireless DNC system. Use the wrong hardware and your CNCs could communicate slowly, drop connections, have errors in the middle of the transmision, or just not work at all. At RYM we intensively tests our wireless hardware to make sure we have the optimum combination of access point and wireless device server to ensure optimum reliability and performance.

Mount these wireless device servers on the side of the CNC where there is 110v power or inside the CNC's cabinet with an optional external antenna for a cleaner looking installation. Our devices let you use either a wired ethernet connection or an 802.11g WiFi network for optimum flexibility. Each box shows up as a regular COM port on your server computer for seamless application compatibility.

We recommend the use of a good wireless access point with your wireless DNC system. In our experience we have found that plenty of access points that are suitable for surfing the internet on a laptop just aren't reliable enough when you start getting ten or more dnc boxes communicating simultaneously in an electrically noisy environment.
