The CNC Cycle Time Monitoring option for PC-DNC
plus allows you to keep track of the amount of time that your CNC
spends in and out of cycle. This can be as simple as in or out of cycle
for older machines (a small circuit board will need to be installed) or
more advanced such as pinpointing specific jobs being run or logging
batch numbers (machines should have macro capability to use these
features). Printable reports detail the time spent on each part #, the
number of cycles, the number of incomplete cycles, spindle idle time,
and other useful information. Source data is exportable to CSV format
for use in Excel, Crystal Reports, or the software of your choice. Additionally, users with late model Hitachi-Seiki machines
should check out our UUP
for PC-DNC plus, which will take advantage of some of the
advanced monitoring capabilities provided by the manufacturer (such as
access to tool life management information, pallet data, macro variable
manipulation, and operator screen interaction).
